EUROPEAN TEAM – ABACUS
For the third time in a row, the Swedish golf-clothing brand Abacus was commissioned to dress the 2011 European Solheim Cup Team continuing the great successes from 2007 and 2009. Not only do they dress the players,they also dress their caddies, members of the board, the players’ guests and the team’s dignitaries from top to toe which has turned out to be a successful cooperation.
“We are very pleased to get the enquiry to dress the team once again. We appreciate the collaboration with the players and the captains. Most important to Abacus is to see how pleased all the players were with their outfits and the good response Abacus got from even the American spectators. The 2011 European Solheim Cup Team Captain Alison Nicholas and the vice captain Joanne Morley, visited Abacus in Dalby in June this year, and were delighted that Abacus would be designing their uniforms for 2011. The reason for the visit was to go over the experiences from previous years and to prepare for the new collection. “The Abacus clothing range is stylish, comfortable, and functional.
