F2 Golf in the Spotlight

F2 Golf LogoThe Claim
Many golfers are afraid of the deadly, dare I say it; SHANK! Well F2 Golf has come out with its second generation of “Face Forward Technology” wedges but has added a revolutionary hosel and extended their line to irons and hybrids. Their claim has always been ”Shank Proof,” and they have proved this with their first generation wedge design. Their new claim is that their patent pending “Dog Leg Hosel” provides the beautiful traditional look that most players have come to know and love. A shank proof, traditional looking set of wedges, irons and hybrids? I gotta try this!

F2 Irons and HybridsThe Test
As a lower handicap player I am all about feel and look with not much worry about the hosel area. My test was not only to see if they helped my game but if I could look down at them. The full line of F2 equipment was put through the test hitting various shots in different conditions along with in play for afternoon skins games and club tournaments. While doing so golfers of different abilities had the opportunity to try them and look down at them. After sometime in the spotlight I took in account my own opinion and the testimonials I heard in the process. Below is the verdict…

The Verdict
Like many golfers I have hit the occasional sha-laylee trying to hit a flop shot out of thick rough to a short sided pin. I did find that it is much easier to hit all kinds of shots with the F2 wedges as the club face stays more square through impact. The irons were much easier to strike out of the rough and were great for trying to get the ball to jump for roll out shots. The hybrid is by far one of the easiest hybrids I have swung. The club head doesn’t grab in the gnarliest of lies including soft fairway bunkers. Almost all the golfers that tried F2 Golf liked them, never hit a shank and were impressed by the traditional look. Its only flaw is in the shaft option so if need be take it to your local pro. I would recommend F2 Golf to anyone that is “Afraid of the S Word” or wants to make golf much easier while still looking good!  For More Information Visit: www.F2Golf.com
