New England Amateur Tour Off and Running

The concept is simple. Provide golfers of all skill levels with the opportunity, and more importantly an incentive, to get out and play more golf. From scratch players to those with handicaps in the 20’s, TOUR members will find a fun and relaxed atmosphere at some of the finest facilities in New England.

Confirmed facilities to date include the following:

Black Rock CC, Framingham CC, Granite Links GC, Indian Ridge CC, Kernwood CC, Mt. Pleasant CC, Nashawtuc CC, Pinehills GC, Pleasant Valley CC, Red Tail GC, Renaissance GC, TPC Boston, Turner Hill GC, Wannamoisett CC

“We are very excited about the future of the New England Amateur Tour,” commented Steve Demmer, PGA – President of the New England Section. “This program will give our professionals and their facilities the opportunity to display their talents as event operators and to show off these great courses to avid golfers, male and female, of all abilities.

Membership in the TOUR will cost $125, which will give members the opportunity to play in as many or as few events as they choose. Members will all receive a tee gift pack inclusive of golf balls, TOUR hat, rules of golf book, etc. Individual event entry fees will range from $100 - $150, depending on the facility and included amenities (cart rental, range, lunch, etc).

Corporate programs will also be available, where business’ or individuals can purchase a foursome for the entire season or for specific events as a hospitality vehicle.
