The summer of 2005 will go on record as being one the best golf seasons ever. The weather from late June thru late September has proved to be close to perfect. Warm temperatures and almost no rain gave some headaches to the regions superintendents as they have scrambled to maintain playing conditions but overall courses have faired well and with some rain finally in September many of the regions courses are in the best shape of the year.
