NEPGA Kicks off New England Amateur Tour

Tim Flynn (New England Country Club) , Nathan Robbins (NEPGA Executive Director), Joe Le Roy (Indian Pond Country Club )On The First Tee At TPC Boston For The Kickoff of The New England Amateur Tour 2010 season, the first of 20 events in New England by The NEPGA.

 

The TPC Boston was the host site for the 2010 NEPGA Amateur Tour on Monday April 19th. The event was the first of  20 events to be held at some of the top private and public golf courses in New England and a great opportunity for players at all levels of the game to enjoy tournament play. If this first event is any indication of things to come then this will be a very successful program for the NEPGA.

In an effort to further fulfill its mission statement, the New England PGA is pleased to announce the formation of the New England Series in 2010.

The program is designed to grow the game of golf and to promote its enjoyment.  The NEPGA will accomplish this by offering a series of amateur golf tournaments designed to provide quality playing opportunities at some of the finest facilities in the greater Boston area.  Whether you are an avid scratch player or an occasional golfers with a handicap in the 20′s, there is a place for you on the New England Series.

This, in combination with tournament administration from a staff with more than 30 years experience, will create the finest amateur playing opportunities in New England.
