Oppenheim and Murphy Stellar in Round 3
Rob Oppenheim and Trevor Murphy performed beautifully today in the 3rd round at second stage of PGA Tour Q-School. Both New Englanders carded just one bogey on the day shooting 66 and 67 respectively. At Callaway Gardens where there are only 20 available spots to move on to finals Rob Oppenheim turned in the second lowest round of the day draining seven birdies with just one blemish for a third round total of 66. Brad Adamonis (RI) and Trevor Murphy (VT) are tied for 17th place at the the par 72, 7557 yard Southern Hills Plantation Course in Brooksville, FL. Rob Oppenheim sits is tied for 14th at Callaway Gardens Golf Course a 7057 yard par 72.
