Wounded Warrior golf tournament to benefit Quality of Life Plus

Posted in Upcoming Events by on September 14th, 2010

Just one more reason why the powers of social networking are so great, I recently became connected with the Wounded Warrior Golf program through Twitter and have been able to learn more about the great work they do.

While working with 3-D motion capture for golf swing analysis for TaylorMade, it occured to them that learning to PLAY a game like golf is a whole lot more fun than rehab! So why not make rehab fun?

Quality for Life Plus is now working with Wounded Warrior Golf to use golf swing 3-D motion capture technology as rehab.  It’s so much more fun to rehab when the golfer becomes a video game. Plus, more effective!

On Monday, October 4, Wounded Warrior Golf is holding it’s first ever golf tournament to benefit Quality for Life Plus at the Harmon Club in Rockland, MA.

Quality of Life Plus funds college engineering projects to create new, innovative solutions that improve the quality of life of our military, intelligence and law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty.  100% of proceeds will go to www.qlplus.org to support their work.
