Great Southwest Desert Golf - Scottsdale, ArizonaYou can choose a lot of great locations for your
next golf trip, but none may be more perfect than the
Desert Southwest region. If you have never played
golf here it is time to make plans and if you have you
already know you will be coming back. The stark
contrast of the Sanoran Desert presents a great backdrop
for some of the best golf anywhere in the world.
Fall is by far my favorite time of the year to travel to
the Southwest, it is just beautiful at this time of year
with cooler temperatures and far less crowds. It is
easy to see why the Scottsdale region has become a
top choice by New Englanders that enjoy golf travel each year.

Take perfect weather every day, combine it with 200 great golf courses,
some of the best resort accommodations in the world, now add some of themost
hospitable people anywhere in this great country, and there you have it, you’re
in Scottsdale. If you love the game of golf, you are going love playing in
Arizona. The desert southwest will not only give you the best weather you have
ever played in, but the conditions, scenery, and facilities will take it one step further.
This is just a great place to visit and play golf. Go west young men, and
take the wives as well, because the sightseeing, shopping, and nightlife will
make this a memorable trip for you both.

Great Southwest Desert Golf - Scottsdale, ArizonaThe Phoenix / Scottsdale areas continue to be one of the fastest growing
regions in the United States. Near perfect weather, and beautiful scenery is just
the beginning. The region is packed with great
restaurants, museums, and the very best inwellness
centers, and spas to pamper your every
whim. Besides being a Mecca for golf fanatics
worldwide, the region will delight your travel
senses and keeping you coming back for more.
The region also boasts the beautiful town of
Sedona with its red rocks, just to the north, and
a few hours away the seventh wonder of the world, The Grand Canyon, one of
our countries national treasures. It will take more than one trip to this region to
really take in all that it has to offer. You may want to make Arizona an annual
event on your calendar.

For all of you who think that fares are high going west, think again, a
roundtrip was only $190.00 per person, a bargain. For all you east coast flyers
who never venture west, you are going to want to grab a window seat. The flight
to Phoenix is going to take you over some of the most magnificent views of the
desert Southwest throughout New Mexico and NorthernArizona with views of
the Colorado River running into the Grand Canyon to the north. We arrived in
Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix in just 5 hours flying time,
Scottsdale is just a 20 minute ride from the airport. Unlike the New England
region we are so accustomed to, the Phoenix area is virtually a new city. The airport,
infrastructure and urban design of this region are well planned with growth
in mind, getting around is easy.

Resort Suites of Scottsdale - ArizonaOur choice of accommodations while in town

Scottsdale is one the finest vacation destinations in the country. The golf,
resorts, restaurants, shopping, and attractions are unmatched by almost anywhere.
The region has so much to offer that it is literally impossible to see it all
in just one visit. The perfect weather is just one facet of what makes this region
such a great location to visit. The regions strongest asset may be its wonderful
knack for making people feel welcome. The staff at Resort Suites, Eagle
Mountain, Gold Canyon, Ocotillo, made it all very easy. This year we are scheduled
to play We-Ko-Pa, Boulders South, Papago, and Legends Trail. There
are so many great choices of golf in the region it is hard to go wrong.
