Casey Bierer, formally of the GOLF CHANNEL joins me on the myNEGM LESSON TEE Show this week, (Wednesday 6/29), to fill us in on his latest endeavor. Along with brother Don, Casey has has taken over management responsibilities at Wentworth Hills Golf Club in Plainville.
This duo promises to inject the quality and class this fabulous course and facility deserves after years of ups and downs.
With brother Don’s background in course development which includes course and facility construction and operation and Casey’s background in media and marketing, it just might be that a ‘real diamond in the rough’s’ time has come.
After riding the course recently and experienceing the quality and sincerity of the entire staff at Wentworth Hills, I had trouble understanding why this incredible facility has had so much trouble since its opening in 2001. I could only assume the right people have not been in charge, until now.
If you’ve never played Wentworth Hills, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. If you have played the course but haven’t been out yet this year becasue you thought it was closed, I strongly suggest you drop by and say hello to Don and Casey. I am confident you will be amazed with what they have done since getting the nod to re-open the course and club the middle of April.
