Keegan Bradley – PGA Grand Slam Champion 2011

Posted in What's News by on October 19th, 2011

It is only fitting that the PGA Champion win the PGA Grand Slam.  Congratulations to New England’s golf hero, Keegan Bradley for a clutch 2 under par back nine in the 2nd round to edge the red hot Charles Schwartzel by one shot.

For this year it was a year of firsts for both Keegan and New England golf:

  • First to play in, never mind win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf
  • First to win a major in a very long time
  • First to win a major with a belly putter
Unfortunetly, it looks like he will have to wait another year for Player of the Year Honors and two more years for a Presidents Cup selection, or does he?

No matter what the outcome, Keegan Bradley has etched his name permanently in the history of New England golf and will never be forgotten!
