There has never been a rookie quite like Keegan Bradley on the PGA Tour. In his first year he has more first than almost any other player in the game. First PGA Tour rookie from New England to win a major, first to win with a belly putter, first in almost 50 years from New England to win a major, First PGA Tour player from New England to win The Grand Slam of Golf ( and First to Play in the Grand Slam as well). First rookie ever from New England to win 3 times in one year. There mayt be too many first to mention. For sure Keegan has made more money in his rookie season this year on the PGA Tour than any other New Englander has in the history of the game.
After fighting off Charles Schwartzel for the Grand Slam win in Bermuda yesterday is became quite obvious for all the world to see, Keegan is one hot golfer who deserves to play on this years Presidents Cup team and by the way Schwartzel who he dueled on the back 9 for the win would have been a great paring for him. It is not over yet because Steve Stricker is still fighting some health issues and anything could happen in the next 8 weeks to any player and Keegan would step in as the next inline as Freddie has said. From where I cast my vote for Rookie of The Year, Player of the Year and lets ad New England Sportsman of the year while we are at it!!
Great Job Keegan and it is a pleasure to watch a great New England born athlete who is so focused and motivated achieve success in there Rookie Year! Team New England Has A New Player of The Year in 201, Keegan Bradley.
